Barong is a bold, fruity and powerful Cabernet Sauvignon by Plaga Bali, Indonesia. While Indonesia is not traditionally a country of wine drinkers, times change, as do habits and lifestyle, and new Indonesian generation are discovering the joy contained in a bottle of wine. Plaga has been making wine in Bali Denpasar since 1994, and breaking the rules of traditional viticulture and wine-making by braving the climate, the elements and fierce critics.

Barong Cabernet Saugvignon has a complex aroma blends of red and dark fruits such as berries and plums. It has a long lasting finish that always gives pleasurable excitement.

The Mythical Beast

:

It has been said that beer is made by man and wine is made by the gods. The Balinese mythical beast, Barong, is inspired from the brand’s viticulture. In Hindu, Barong represents good spirits that took the form off an animal as the guardian of forest. We believe Barong protects Plaga’s vineyard against the climate to produce the best wine in the country.
